Recognized as the smallest municipality in the province of Pesaro-Urbino, Frontino enjoys spectacular views and offers the opportunity to take walks and trekking. The town organizes events such as the festival of the bean and the black truffle.
Palazzo Vandini draws the visitor's attention to Humanism and the Renaissance. The noble palace, with finely furnished rooms, is also a restaurant and hotel with 20 rooms overlooking glimpses of unspoiled nature.
Before the village of Frontino there is an ancient milling complex, which served the Castle and the area. There are two active milling apparatuses with old stone millstones, powered by electricity and an ancient milling plant powered by water for educational purposes.
It dates back to its founder St. Francis (1213). It is one of the largest Convents in the Marche region, with interior spaces and over 10 hectares of land, park and sports area.
It was erected in 1500 by Don Ghisello by concession of the Bishop of Montefeltro Luca Melini. A place surrounded by secular oaks, the Monastery is a treasure chest reserved for tourists, who want to stay and find quality catering.
