In the province of Pesaro-Urbino, Lunano is a modern town where history and culture go hand in hand with industrialization and contemporaneity. Surrounded by an Apennine landscape it offers spectacular itineraries immersed in nature.
The most important building is the "Franciscan Convent of Monte Illuminato", in which St. Francis passed in 1213 and performed the miracle of restoring sight to a blind man by bathing his eyes with water from the well that is still located in the courtyard of the convent.
