Characterized by castles and fortresses, the municipality of Borghi is made up of three ancient communities, Poggio de Borghi, San Giovanni in Galilea and San Martino in Converseto. It is possible to visit the foundations of the Byzantine parish church, built in the VI-VII century and discovered in 1970. The archaeological area of the parish church has given back several votive objects partly exposed to the Renzi Museum.
