Civitella di Romagna, whose name derives from 'Civitatulà, a small town, rises 40 km far from Cesena. A small village with a medieval urban structure that every year organizes festivals and incredible events in which the products of the territory, such as the blackthorn mushroom and the white truffle, are the protagonists.
Pleasant village at 291 mt. Slm, with about 3800 inhabitants, offers visitors its natural setting of green hills that are the scene of everyday life.
Inside the medieval castle, in the "Torre della Meridiana", there is the permanent exhibition of the "Formelle ceramiche" made around the middle of the seventeenth century.
The Sanctuary, a work of Tuscan Renaissance architecture, was built in the second half of the 1500s and contains several works of art.
